Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when requested.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar.
Serve dishes and drinks professionally, ensuring correct order and presentation.
Check with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
Handle guest complaints politely and report them to the supervisor if necessary.
Provide courteous, efficient, and personalized service throughout the meal.
Billing & Payment
Prepare and deliver guest checks/bills accurately.
Process cash, credit card, or room charge payments according to company policy.
Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the POS system.
Setup & Maintenance
Prepare tables for service (cleaning, laying cutlery, glassware, and napkins).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area and service stations.
Refill water, condiments, and other table supplies as needed.
Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning.
Teamwork
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Support colleagues during peak service times.
Attend pre-shift briefings and follow supervisor instructions.
