(or Server) ensures guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing excellent customer service and attentiveness.

Key Responsibilities

:

Customer Service

: Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating if needed. Take accurate food and drink orders. Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, or ingredients.

Order Management

: Relay orders to kitchen staff or bartenders. Deliver food and beverages promptly.

Table Maintenance

: Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction. Refill drinks and clear empty dishes as needed. Handle any complaints or issues courteously.

Billing

: Present the bill to guests and process payments. Handle cash and operate POS systems efficiently.

Cleanliness

: Reset tables for the next guests. Ensure the dining area is tidy and clean.

Teamwork

: Assist fellow staff during busy periods.

Skills & Qualifications

:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and multitasking abilities. Previous experience is a plus but not always required.

Seating Arrangements

: Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Manage the seating chart to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Customer Support

: Address guest inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff. Handle complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Reservation Management

: Answer phone calls and manage reservations. Confirm bookings and special requests.

Ambience Maintenance

: Keep the entrance area and host stand clean and organized. Ensure the dining area looks inviting.

Coordination

: Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding large parties or special requests.

Skills & Qualifications

:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and friendly personality. Familiarity with reservation software is a plus.
