Job Description
Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items when requested. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally. Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction. Handle customer complaints courteously and promptly. Process payments (cash, credit, etc.) accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service. Upsell additional products when appropriate (e.g., desserts, beverages).
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Basic math skills for handling bills and payments. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
