Welcome and escort customers to their tables warmly and professionally.
Present menus and provide accurate information about dishes, ingredients, daily specials, and potential allergens.
Take food and beverage orders accurately, either by memorization, order slips, or using a POS (Point of Sale) system.
Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring correct presentation and order accuracy.
Offer suggestions and upsell menu items such as appetizers, desserts, and drinks to enhance the guest experience.
Monitor customers during their meals to ensure satisfaction, respond to complaints, and escalate issues to management if necessary.
Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit card, or mobile payments, and provide receipts and change.
Clean and reset tables, maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, bussers, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant.Assisting the executive chef in a restaurant.
