Key Responsibilities
Present menus, explain dishes, answer questions about ingredients and allergens, and take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct orders and proper presentation.
Set tables with appropriate linens and silverware, and keep the dining area tidy by clearing tables, removing dishes, and resetting for new customers.
Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to communicate orders and special requests, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
Meet with restaurant staff to discuss daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations.
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines for handling food and beverages.
Experience Required
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Skills Required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
The ability to ensure order accuracy, maintain a clean environment, and attend to guests' needs.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to stand for long periods, walk, and carry trays of food and other items.
A strong dedication to providing exceptional service and resolving any customer issues.
Good knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages
Education / Certification
Any Hospitality diploma / degree
