Job title: Waiter / Server
Summary:
Provide friendly, efficient table service to guests in a restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Key responsibilities:
Greet guests, present menus, and explain daily specials
Take food and drink orders accurately and enter into POS
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
Check on guests, refill drinks, and respond to requests
Clear and reset tables; maintain cleanliness of dining area
Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
Coordinate with kitchen and bussing staff to ensure smooth service
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to ~25 lbs
Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems (preferred)
Team player with a positive attitude; prior serving experience preferred but not required
Valid food handler certificate if required by local regulations
Working hours:
Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
