Food and Beverage Service:
Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the correct order is delivered to the right table.
Table Maintenance:
Monitor guest tables, ensuring they have everything they need, including refills, condiments, and clean utensils.
Up-selling & Specials:
Promote restaurant specials, up-sell menu items, and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience.
Customer Interaction:
Address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring the guest leaves satisfied.
Bill Handling:
Present bills to customers, process payments, and make change when necessary. Handle cash or credit card transactions.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waiters to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Cleanliness:
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables quickly for new guests. Ensure floors and restaurant areas are free of debris.
Safety & Hygiene:
Follow food safety standards and maintain proper hygiene practices, including handling food, beverages, and utensils appropriately.
Stock & Inventory:
Assist with stock taking, ensuring the restaurant is stocked with necessary items (e.g., napkins, utensils, glassware).
