Job Title: Vice President - Talent Acquisition

Job Responsibilities:
  • Developing Talent Acquisition Strategies: Design and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team success.
  • Executive Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for executive-level positions, including the VP TA role itself, ensuring the identification and selection of top-tier talent.
  • Talent Pipelining and Succession Planning: Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles, anticipating future staffing needs and supporting succession planning initiatives.
  • Employer Branding and Candidate Experience: Enhance the employer brand through strategic initiatives, ensuring a positive candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Partnership with Senior Leadership: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand talent requirements, establish hiring priorities, and drive recruitment outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment processes.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in talent acquisition, driving continuous improvement and innovation in recruitment processes.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, optimizing resources and expenditures to achieve recruitment goals cost-effectively.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years in the recruitment industry, with at least 10 years in a Director or VP role.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to engage and build strong relationships with senior-level executives.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong experience leading and developing high-performing teams of recruiters/talent acquisition professionals.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment methodologies, sourcing techniques, and assessment tools, with a track record of delivering high-quality talent acquisition solutions.
  • Results-Oriented: Strong focus on results and outcomes, with a track record of achieving recruitment targets, improving recruitment metrics, and driving continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes and outcomes.
  • Professionalism: Unparalleled professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost sensitivity.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is typically required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR) may be preferred.
