Job Purpose
To understand the purpose of the unit and the role within, let\'s note that the mission of the GCOO Business Management function is to make the GCOO function an enabler of technology and state-of-art processing for our business lines to better serve existing and potential FAB customers, globally. Group Chief Operating Officer\'s Business Management department entails 6 critical functions: * FAB\'s Research and Innovation Center for providing the innovation tools and instilling the innovation culture in the way FAB operates while spearheading the exploration for the cutting-edge tech in banking
GCOO Projects and Partnerships for large & cross-functional transformational programs related to Group Tech, Group Operations and Strategic Vendor Management; as well as initiatives in collaboration with strategic 3rd parties
Operations Transformation for Process Re-engineering and Operations Support in MI & Outsourcing & Centralization initiatives
Group Policy and Procedures for bank-wide process documentation and maintenance
Financial Performance for tracking key financial performance indicators, leading synergy drives and support budgeting.

Key Accountabilities
The GCOO Projects & Partnerships department is accountable for End-to-End Program Management & for timely delivery of assigned programs, which will be delivered through multiple initiatives/ projects executed by resources directly managed or temporarily assigned. As such following are expected at a minimum:
Support to a business case creation and approval for the program as required
Definition of the governance structure for the program, including all stakeholders, at the right level of seniority given the relevance and materiality of the program
Managing all external and 3rd party relationship in alignment with FAB\'s strategic vision
Rigorous program planning and re-planning to manage the issues and blockers in a timely and proactive manner, re-alignment of resources with a prioritization lens
Monitoring and controlling projects on various success measures defined at the initiation, across cross-functional teams involved and highlighting risks and dependencies timely
Communication of program progression to all stakeholders proactively and when required; both written and verbal; creating reports fit for EXCO consumption and decision-making
facilitation of decision making at the right governance bodies, especially when compromises are required (stakeholders can involve all business lines, enablement units, regulators, IT vendors/implementation partners, designers, contractors, marketing agencies, consultants possibly represented at the senior-most level)
Effective utilization of resources such as human capital, licences and program management tools, opex / capex budgets; in conventional, agile and hybrid project delivery set-ups
Effective collaboration and coordination across various teams involved (e.g. Tech PM, Business SPOC, Risk SPOC, HR, Product Owner, Vendor resources, Operations); capitalizing on synergies, ironing out overlaps, reworks, and political barriers that may arise during the execution;
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team(s) and act as a role model
Management of project managers performance on specific projects and initiatives; based on agreed Key Performance Indicators / Objectives and Key Results
Influencing the scope and deliverables of the program at hand given the learnings from olders programs managed and realities observed during the program
Post implementation reviews and reports on sustained impact of the program, tracked against the measures/goals defined
Drive an inclusive performance culture at work; in line with all FAB values
Talent growth within the teams involved in the program through allocation of tasks and responsibilities according to people\'s growth need as much as possible on the job training and ongoing feedback throughout the program duration
As the Vice President of GCOO Projects & Partnerships, the individual will be entrusted with:
- Demonstration of exemplary program management practices
- Playing a pivotal role in formulating project strategies in alignment with the FAB vision.
- Running and supervising projects with adherence to defined success metrics, across cross-functional teams, and promptly addressing risks and interdependencies.
- Efficiently managing resource utilization, including human capital, licenses, budgets, and program management tools, across conventional, agile, and hybrid project delivery models.
- Proactively communicating program progress through well-crafted reports, both written and verbal
- Represent the GCOO Projects & Partnership function in relevant forums, as necessary
- Evaluating program\'s performance based on agreed parameters and key results for specific projects and initiatives.
- Effectively managing deliverables of high functioning individuals within program teams
- Strategically managing and addressing delivery risks and issues, developing proactive action plans
-Establishing governance frameworks for the programs, involving stakeholders at appropriate seniority levels, considering program relevance and significance.
-Collaboratively work with consulting firms and other 3rd party, as needed
- Delivering complete End-to-End Program Management, acting as the ambassador of FAB\'s long-term goals and vision
Qualifications
An ideal candidate for the role has the following competencies:

Ability to decide on compromises in a program effectively and present proposals to higher management as required
Excellent collaboration skills with 3rd party service providers
Strong communication both written and verbal, enabling seamless flow of information and transparency across all levels
Constructive mindset and positive attitude
An ability to manage stakeholders across all levels
A very good understanding of banking products, in retail, commercial and corporate business lines as well as the online and off-line banking channels
An ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experience
10+ years of working experience, out of which a minimum of 4 years in managing large scale transformative programs, ideally in financial institutions
A master\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Business Administration) from a reputable academic institution
Successful consulting career / Success in technology roles in reputable companies
