Job Brief

We are looking for a creative VM stylist who can define, design and implement an inspiring customer journey based on trends and seasonal marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity for an innovative and curious team player who wants to be a part of an exciting next chapter of leading baby & childrenswear brand with 50 years of legacy in GCC region.

As a part of a larger VM collective in our Dubai headquarters, the stylist will be contributing to business by creating eye-catching visual displays, mannequin styling and window concepts for our clothing department to elevate brand image in line with our rapid global expansion.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate with brand marketing team and graphic design department in developing strong and cohesive omnichannel campaigns · Work as a close-knit team with the commercial VM specialists to maximize sales in stores · Set industry standards and benchmarks against competitors through constantly evolving visual displays · Create exciting displays to drive additional footfall into stores through trend focused styling · Proactively participate in product development and seasonal buy plans with design and merchandising teams · Work closely with retail operations to understand and agree on market / region specific requirements · Regularly perform comparative 'shops' of new and inspirational places to maintain an understanding and awareness of competition, direction and key brands to use as inspiration · Guide and train global team of visual merchandisers in fashion, trends and styling through scheduled workshops and 1-2-1 sessions when required · Work closely with UAE team to ensure clothing department is inviting, exciting and has clarity

Requirements and Skills

· Creative with a background in visual merchandising; fashion / marketing studies are an advantage · Passionate about design and visual displays, with an understanding of their importance in retail business · Strong styling experience through an international fast-fashion business; Middle East exposure / understanding of GCC customer is an advantage · Up-to-date knowledge of brands, designers and global trends, constantly looking for opportunities to get inspired · Great communicator with the ability to work as a cross-functional collective and influence stakeholders · Energetic and dynamic personality who fits a multicultural team · Organized and proactive with ability to multitask, prioritize and work to tight deadlines · Basic understanding of baby / childrenswear fashion business · Minimum 5 years of overall experience in retail; in-store visual merchandising experience is required · Ability to travel within UAE; role will be 50% office based, 50% in stores · Exposure and skills with design software is an advantage (Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, Mock Shop, etc)
