VFX and CGI Artist Position Overview: The VFX (Visual Effects) and CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) Artist is responsible for creating and integrating digital effects and animations into live-action footage or computer-generated environments. They collaborate closely with the production team, including directors, cinematographers, and other artists, to bring creative visions to life and enhance the overall visual quality of films, television shows, commercials, video games, and other media projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Visual Effects Creation: Design and create high-quality visual effects using industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Nuke, or similar tools. This includes creating particle effects, simulations, compositing, 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering. 2. CGI Development: Generate computer-generated imagery by creating digital assets, including characters, objects, environments, or entire scenes. This involves 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, including directors, cinematographers, and other artists, to understand project requirements and creative visions. Collaborate effectively to achieve the desired visual effects or CGI elements that seamlessly integrate into the overall project. 4. Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges related to visual effects and CGI. Find innovative solutions to overcome limitations and deliver high-quality results within project deadlines. 5. Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools related to VFX and CGI. Continuously develop and enhance skills to improve the quality and efficiency of work. 6. Quality Control: Ensure that the delivered visual effects and CGI elements meet the project\'s artistic and technical standards. Review and revise work based on feedback from the production team or clients. 7. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, techniques, and assets used in the creation of visual effects and CGI elements. This includes creating detailed breakdowns and tutorials to assist other team members or for future reference. Requirements: 1. Strong artistic and technical skills in visual effects and CGI creation. 2. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Blender , Neural engine or similar tools. 3. Solid understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering. 4. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and take direction from supervisors. 5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. 7. Good communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members. 8. Knowledge of cinematography and film/television production processes is a plus. 9.
