At the forefront in the battle against the pandemic, G42 Healthcare partnered with Abu Dhabi authorities to develop a massive throughput laboratory in 14 days and spearheaded the world’s first Phase 3 clinical trial of COVID-19 inactivated vaccine. Beyond Covid-19, G42 Healthcare is also developing a program of activities to support the health of future generations – ranging from genomics, imaging and diagnostics to digitization programs, manufacturing and cutting-edge Responsibilities:
Perform complex technical work involving analysis of human biological materials. Job duties include a combination of the following responsibilities: extensive and complex steps requiring manual manipulation, close monitoring and control, evaluation of data, and careful and accurate work. Training periods are typically long and require some reading of pertinent literature related to the specialty to maintain current knowledge in this dynamic, rapidly evolving, field.
Main Responsibilities:
Infection Control
1. Program management
a) Responsible to develop, implement, and evaluate the organizational infection preventionprogram
b) Responsible to develop, interpret and assist with implementation of infection prevention
c) and control policies and protocols.
d) Responsible to develop an annual infection control plan based on the services provided,
e) and analysis of surveillance data.
f) d) Evaluate and modify the infection control plan as necessary.
g) e) Responsible to communicate infection prevention and control information and data to
h) various committees and healthcare workers across the organization as assigned.
2. Design and Deliver training
a) Assess and address learning needs of those served.
b) Create educational goals, objectives, and strategies using learning principles and available educational tools and technology.
c) Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and learner outcomes.
3. Regulatory Requirements
a) Able to prepare and implement policies as per the local regulatory body
b) Stay current on infection prevention and control regulatory and accreditation standards
4. Occupational Health
a) Participate in the development/review of occupational health policies and proceduresrelated to Infection Control
b) Assess risk of occupational exposures to infectious disease.
c) Develop (or assist with) rates and trends of occupational exposures.
d) Develop (or assist with) immunization and screening programs.
e) Apply work restrictions and recommendations related to communicable diseases or following an exposure.
5. Leadership
a) Utilize principles of influence, leadership and change management
b) Bring enthusiasm, creativity and innovation to practice.
c) Work collaboratively with others, providing direction when necessary.
d) Readily share knowledge and expertise.
e) Contribute to the development of less-experienced healthcare providers through education and mentorship. Qualifications:

Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate specimens received by the department and organize workflow to provide optimum efficiency of testing and turnaround time of results
- Responsible for the staff management in Virology including schedule, training and competency.
- Perform all the procedures in Virology.
- Responsible for the validation of procedure in Virology.
- Evaluate results to determine interference or other problems that arise during testing.
- Maintain equipment by performing assigned maintenance activities and troubleshoot unexpected problems with equipment
- Record data to monitor temperatures of incubation equipment
- Evaluate inventory of supplies and reagents and communicate order needs
- Operate complex equipment and computer programs related to equipment and LIS system
- Maintain records of test results and archives of data
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment
- Perform proficiency testing to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
- Assist department in writing and maintaining standard operating procedures for clinical assays. Document knowledge by reviewing and signing SOPs annually
- Follow laboratory policies and procedures such as attendance and time reporting policies.
- Evaluate specimens received by the department and organize workflow to provide optimum efficiency of testing and turnaround time of result.
- Inventory, accessioning, and tracking of incoming samples into the lab.

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Laboratory Sciences, Biomedicine, Molecular Biology,
- Bioengineering and other related majors is preferred.
- Experience in Microbiology Laboratory
- 3 years specialist experience
- Experience in CAP or ISO15189 certified laboratory is preferred.
- Currently licensed in country of origin.
- DOH License. Currently holding DHA eligibility letter.
- Can create an organization technique for the equipment and data.
- Can operate general lab equipment with sufficient proficiency to execute test procedure and train others.
- With good communication & interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and Arabic is preferred.
