Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Vietnamese
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Develop and improve menu items while maintaining authenticity
Manage mise en place and daily food preparation
Maintain high standards of
food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
Control food costs, minimize waste, and manage inventory
Train and guide kitchen staff on Vietnamese cooking techniques
Ensure compliance with
HACCP and local food safety regulations
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a
Vietnamese Chef
or similar role
Strong knowledge of traditional Vietnamese cuisine and ingredients
Ability to prepare both
street food and fine-dining Vietnamese dishes
Experience working in restaurants or hotels
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours
Good teamwork and communication skills
Culinary certification is an advantage
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
