Air Liquide Global Helium is managing Worldwide Helium Sourcing, Supply and International & multimodal Logistics of Cryogenics Helium containers from various Sources to more than 30 countries.
ALGHe is having its office in Dubai (Jebel Ali Free Zone) and is part of Air Liquide Maritime.
Helium teams are located worldwide: Dubai (~35 people), Germany (12), France (5), USA (6) and China (2).
Dubai being the central location of Helium activities for Air Liquide.
We have more than 10 different nationalities represented in Helium teams.

You will be part of the Supply Chain department, reporting to Global Helium Freight Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

WW Helium Freight Cost Controlling

Control Helium freight invoices in close coordination with all suppliers (road transporter, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agent\xe2\x80\xa6)

Supervise the interfacing between our global freight auditor (3rd party) and the suppliers

Manage the contract and relationship with our global freight auditor

Consolidate all freight data and cost on monthly basis and measure the financial gap with the target

Elaborate relevant freight KPIs dashboard to issue a monthly Helium freight flash

Ensure monthly freight closing in close coordination with Finance & Accounting department

Responsible for performing special projects to improve freight process efficiency

Digital management

Maintain Power BI dashboard to consolidate all freight costs data history from previous years and provide analytics on our actual freight spent per Container, per logistics route, per region etc.

maintain Power BI dashboard on CO2 emission reporting

support project with Digital team aimed at integrating freight cost to the Transport Management System to allow real time access to shipping cost

support project with Digital team aimed at integrating CO2 emission reporting to the Transport Management System

Procurement and Logistics

Support Freight Procurement Manager in the tendering process and offer analysis

Create purchase requisition for all Freight service providers and generate good receipts on monthly basis

Update freight rates following RFQ results and maintain records of updates

Work on sustainability programs with shipping lines



Are you a MATCH?

Education

• Master degree - Business or Engineer
• Field of study : Finance, Supply chain

Key competences :

• Finance (cost controlling), Procurement, Logistics
• Proficiency with Google Suite environment (especially G-sheets to handle large quantity of data)
• Experience with Power BI, Transport Management System (TMS - Good to have)
• Ideally with professional experience in the shipping/logistics industry

Hard and soft skills

Cost Controlling, Data analysis, Shipping industry

Attentive to detail, Curious, Good written/oral communication, Efficient and Multitasking, Adaptation in multicultural environment

Language required:

• English is mandatory
