Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer and Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand objectives and engages our target audience. This role requires expertise in videography techniques, proficiency in video editing software, and a keen eye for detail. The Videographer and Editor will collaborate closely with stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, shoot, and produce compelling video projects across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams or clients to understand video requirements and project objectives. Plan video shoots, including location scouting, scriptwriting, shot list creation, and scheduling. Capture high-quality footage using professional camera equipment, ensuring proper lighting, framing, and audio quality. Direct talent and crew members during shoots to achieve desired visual and narrative outcomes. Edit raw footage to produce polished video content, incorporating transitions, effects, graphics, and sound. Enhance video quality through color correction, audio editing, and other post-production techniques. Select and license appropriate music tracks, sound effects, and stock footage to enhance the video's impact. Collaborate with graphic designers and motion graphics artists to create custom visual elements for videos. Ensure timely delivery of video projects while adhering to production timelines and deadlines. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and editing. Manage video assets, archives, and file organization to facilitate easy access and retrieval. Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new video concepts and ideas. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the production process. Maintain and operate video equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Videographer and Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects. Proficiency in videography techniques, camera operation, and lighting setups. Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Solid understanding of storytelling principles, visual composition, and narrative structure. Knowledge of audio recording and editing techniques, including sound mixing and mastering. Ability to work creatively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling and engaging content. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and travel for on-location shoots when necessary.
