to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing compelling video content that communicates the hospital's mission, educates the community, promotes services, and highlights patient and staff stories. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both videography and post-production and thrive in a healthcare environment where sensitivity, professionalism, and HIPAA compliance are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Videography:
Plan and execute video shoots, including patient stories, doctor interviews, event coverage, and promotional videos.
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment on location and in studio settings.
Coordinate with hospital staff, departments, and patients for filming logistics.
Video Editing:
Edit footage into polished videos for various platforms including social media, internal communications, website, and external campaigns.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and licensed music as needed.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
Production Management:
Organize and archive video files and maintain a library of assets.
Assist in concept development and scriptwriting for video projects.
Manage video projects from pre-production through post-production to final delivery.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the marketing, PR, and digital teams to meet project goals.
Liaise with clinical and administrative staff for video needs and approvals.
Stay updated with healthcare regulations and obtain consent for all patient-related content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in videography and video editing, preferably in healthcare, education, or nonprofit sectors.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and related editing software.
Experience with professional video and audio equipment.
Strong storytelling skills and ability to produce emotionally engaging content.
Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and empathy.
Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with animation and motion graphics.
Photography and basic photo editing skills.
Drone operation and FAA certification (if applicable).
Bilingual capabilities (Arabic) are a plus.
