Their primary responsibilities and duties include:
Consulting with clients to understand video content goals and objectives
Planning the video script and storyboard
Setting up and breaking down recording equipment before and after use
Operating video cameras, on location or in the studio, to capture important moments or events
Ensuring the proper lighting and sound setup for video recording
Directing other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
Editing video, including sound, to ensure a high-quality final product
Incorporating special effects as necessary
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques
Maintaining all video equipment and software
Archiving and cataloging all footage for future use
