ROLE PROFILE

Title: Videographer

Division / Department: Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle \xe2\x80\x93 Marketing & Communications

Reporting To: General Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Content & Creative


Role Purpose:

The role of the Videographer is responsible for creating marketing video and animation content for campaigns, activations, and promotions. The role will work with our internal marketing team, content team, external copywriters, and translators to create creative solutions for Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Conceptualized ideas from given briefs, planned shoots, create and review scripts, designed storyboards, and create and edit animations (2D and 3D) and videos for social media, online and offline.
  • Create content (animations or videos) that will catch maximum customer interest and increase engagement rates.
  • Produce creative solutions (animations or videos) that are visually appealing, with a strong understanding of storytelling and marketing needs.
  • Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives, etc.
  • Continually learns and adjusts designs based on industry best practices.

  • Act as a guardian for the brands across all digital mediums.
  • As a brand champion, maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all work delivered.
  • Utilize design style guides to maintain consistent visual brand identity across work for different internal brands, channels, and platforms, with a focus on digital and direct outputs
  • Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.

  • Work collaboratively with team members across all practice areas to explain and achieve brand alignment in support of our \xe2\x80\x98one family approach to the market.
  • Produce visually interesting, read-worthy, and engaging communications that meet business objectives and enhance our client experience with the relevant brands.
  • Present design solutions and creative rationale to the internal team.
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications / Education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or certificate in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team to develop video animations and solve problems.
  • Organized and detail-oriented even in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as an Animator / Videographer
