Job Title: Video Engineer OB Video Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide on-the-job guidance, support, and training to the outside broadcast video team to ensure smooth processes.
  • Configure and set up outside broadcast video equipment and systems during outside broadcast events to meet broadcast requirements.
  • Be able to perform troubleshooting/first level support in the event of critical equipment failure during production.
  • Test all video equipment and systems for outside broadcast, including backups, to ensure they function properly and maintain playback videos for all outside broadcast events when needed.
  • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of the required equipment before broadcasting.
  • Record or send the broadcast, ensuring that video outputs are synchronized correctly.
  • Coordinate the settings of video equipment and systems for outside broadcast on-site according to requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with operations, production, and news departments to cover daily outside broadcast events.
  • Plan and implement regular and on-demand maintenance of technical equipment for outside broadcast, in coordination with relevant parties such as technical support engineers and broadcast support engineers.
