About the Role:



We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Video Editor cum Content Creator

to join our marketing team at Rama Care Polyclinic. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating informative, engaging, and visually compelling video content that supports the facility's branding, patient education, and overall marketing strategy. You will work closely with medical professionals, marketing, and communications teams to produce educational and promotional content that enhances patient engagement, supports awareness campaigns, and elevates our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:



Video Editing:



Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content for use across various digital platforms, including the website, social media, patient portals, and internal communications. Create educational videos, patient testimonials, procedure explanations, and promotional videos to showcase the facility's services, staff, and success stories. Enhance videos with motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to clarify complex medical information and make content more engaging. Implement sound design, colour grading, and audio adjustments to ensure the highest quality videos. Maintain organized video archives for future use and ensure easy retrieval of video assets.

Content Creation:



Develop a content strategy and video ideas that resonate with target audiences, such as patients, healthcare professionals, and the community. Create patient-friendly videos that explain medical procedures, health tips, preventive care, and wellness topics in a clear and relatable way. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to create content that accurately represents medical procedures, treatments, and patient care in an informative yet engaging manner. Write scripts, storyboard, and shoot videos independently or in collaboration with the medical and marketing teams. Manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent video uploads across social media and digital platforms.

Platform Optimization:



Tailor video content for different platforms, ensuring that each video is optimized for the platform's unique requirements (e.g., YouTube for longer form, Instagram/TikTok for shorter clips). Stay current with trends in video production and digital marketing to ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and aligned with healthcare industry standards. Monitor and analyse video performance metrics (e.g., views, engagement, retention) to refine content strategies and improve audience reach.

Patient Education and Community Engagement:



Develop educational video content that supports patient awareness campaigns, health education initiatives, and wellness programs. Create videos that highlight the facility's services, community outreach efforts, and staff, helping to build trust and engagement with patients. Produce testimonial videos, patient stories, and behind-the-scenes footage to humanize the healthcare experience and create an emotional connection with patients.

Collaborative Responsibilities:



Work with the medical team to ensure that all video content is medically accurate, sensitive to patient privacy, and compliant with DHA and other privacy regulations. Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to ensure content is aligned with the facility's branding, messaging, and goals. Contribute creative ideas to enhance the facility's digital marketing strategies through engaging visual content.

Qualifications & Skills:



Proven experience

as a video editor and content creator, ideally in the healthcare or medical sector (portfolio of relevant work is required). Strong proficiency in

video editing software

(e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Experience with

motion graphics and animation tools

(e.g., After Effects). Ability to shoot high-quality video using DSLR or professional cameras, with knowledge of lighting, sound, and camera techniques. Understanding of

medical terminology

and the ability to create clear, accurate, and approachable content for a broad audience.

Excellent storytelling skills

with the ability to translate complex medical concepts into easy-to-understand, engaging video content. Strong understanding of

social media platforms

, content trends, and video formats (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook). Familiarity with video performance metrics and ability to analyse video content engagement (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Familiarity with

patient confidentiality

laws and DHA compliance for video content (especially for patient testimonials and medical procedures).

Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in

Film, Media, Communications

, or a related field. Experience working in the

healthcare industry

or with medical professionals.

Basic graphic design

skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating promotional assets, social media graphics, and thumbnails. Experience in

audio editing

and sound design to ensure high-quality video production. Familiarity with

for video content and best practices for increasing organic reach and engagement.
