Hiring: Senior Video Editor (Long-Form / Retention Focus)

We're looking for a top-tier Video Editor who lives and breathes storytelling, retention, and branding.

Not your usual B-roll cutter. Not your average montage maker.

We're talking about someone who understands how to keep viewers hooked -- through pacing, motion, lighting, framing, fonts, and color psychology.

This is for someone who can turn a long-form real estate or podcast-style video into something people actually can't click away from.

What You'll Do

Edit long-form retention-based videos (10-30 mins) -- think storytelling, pacing, and structure. Craft powerful hooks that capture attention in the first 5 seconds. Add motion edits, text animations, transitions, and branded graphics that elevate the entire viewing experience. Maintain consistent brand identity -- fonts, colors, tone, layout, energy. Guide on studio setups, lighting, framing, and shot composition to achieve a professional, cinematic look. Work closely with the team on scripting, shoot direction, and creative flow. Bring ideas -- not just edits -- to the table.

You Should Have

Proven experience with long-form YouTube or interview-style videos. Mastery in Premiere Pro / After Effects (or similar tools). A strong eye for branding, typography, and motion design. Understanding of studio-level visuals -- lighting, camera angles, setups. Experience in real estate content is a big plus. Bonus: You know what keeps retention high and how to structure edits around that.

A creative problem-solver who knows how to tell stories visually. Obsessed with viewer retention, pacing, and aesthetics. Detail-oriented but also big-picture driven -- you see how edits shape a brand. Someone who can give input on the script, setup, and energy of every shoot.
