Job Title: Video Editor - Remote
:
As a remote video editor, you will be responsible for editing and post-production of video content to ensure it meets our quality standards and objectives. You will collaborate with our creative team and stakeholders to create compelling video content that effectively communicates our message and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit raw video footage to create engaging and visually appealing content. Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience. This includes cutting, trimming, adding transitions, special effects, and enhancing audio.
- Color Correction and Grading: Adjust and enhance video colors to maintain a consistent and appealing visual style. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Sound Editing: Improve audio quality, add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the viewer\'s experience.
- Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the narrative flows smoothly and effectively, maintaining the desired message and tone. Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes\xe2\x80\x99 value and contribution to continuity
- Motion Graphics: Create or incorporate motion graphics, animations, and titles to enhance video content.
- Quality Control: Review final videos to ensure they meet quality standards, resolution, and format requirements.
- File Management: Organize and manage video assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and backed up.
- Feedback and Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including videographers, producers, and content creators, to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions. Take a brief to grasp production team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and specifications. Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and techniques to improve video quality and efficiency.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote work environment.
