Part-Time Video Editor

who can translate this identity into premium, polished content for jewelry campaigns, cafe visuals, product launches, and social media storytelling.

THE ROLE

You will transform raw footage into high-impact, visually refined videos across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, and campaign channels. From jewelry close-ups to cafe lifestyle content, your edits will shape the brand's digital presence and elevate the Velvet Desert experience.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Video Editing & Content Creation

Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and website. Create product-focused videos for jewelry pieces and cafe menu items. Combine footage, audio, transitions, and graphics into polished final content. Handle color grading, sound mixing, stabilization, and text overlays. Deliver videos optimized for multiple platforms and resolutions.

Creative Direction & Storytelling

Apply Velvet Desert's luxury aesthetic to every edit. Work with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and campaign themes. Enhance emotional storytelling through pacing, detail, and elegant visuals.

Content Planning & Coordination

Manage editing timelines and ensure on-time delivery. Organize raw footage, project folders, and media libraries. Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and marketing teams during campaigns.

Brand & Quality Standards

Ensure all edits align with Velvet Desert's tone, color palette, and visual identity. Maintain consistent quality for jewelry macro shots and cafe lifestyle scenes. Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, and platform requirements.

YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU...

?Have

1-3 years

of experience as a video editor (freelance or part-time accepted).
?Are proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
? Have basic motion graphics or transitions experience (After Effects is a plus).
? Can edit in a

clean, modern, elegant

style suited for luxury brands.
?Understand social media trends and trending short-form formats.
?Are highly organized with strong time-management skills.
?Bring creativity, precision, and a strong visual eye.
? (Bonus) Have basic photography skills.
