Job Summary

This position requires a dynamic and passionate individual to execute K-12 school projects, processes, events, and pipeline initiatives that drive Delta English School to be the best in class CBSE provider within the United Arab Emirates. Delta English School possesses a proven record of learning innovation and delivery of critical services that are time-bound and customer-centric. Through strong sales and product knowledge, the Vice Principal will help spearhead Delta English School's educational platform to support and expand current service offerings, will deliver on all key metrics and will drive exceptional customer outcomes leveraging the school's extensive products, services and partnerships.

As Vice-Principal, you will oversee an exceptional group of administrators and academicians with a strong team oriented culture. This role demands a deep fervor for integrating technology into all facets of operations with a meticulous mindset in project management. The Vice Principal is successful in leading the student and faculty population through periods of rapid growth while maintaining premier academic standards. The position will have responsibility for discussing data management and objectives-oriented business frameworks while delivering campus opportunities, through direct interaction, at all levels of Delta English School.

This role requires someone who is an authentic brand and product ambassador, one who's inspired to learn and does not shy away from hard work. You must be results driven and know how to bring an organization's success story to life through analytics and insight.

Responsibilities

As Vice Principal, you will manage responsibilities in the following domains:

A. Operations and Logistics

  • Collaborate with administrative and academic units to exceed Delta English School KPIs through success geared road maps and detailed, near-term service plans.
  • Implement and deliver Delta English School directed initiatives and leverage strategies and programs as instructed and trained by the Delta English School Training Team.
  • Understand and contextualize CBSE market opportunities, including analysis of K-12 competitive landscape.
  • Identify and build high quality relationships with school leaders, executives and governmental organizations.
  • Lead academic teams in all phases of curriculum design and delivery - grade level and course bench marking, field-testing, live deployment, and quality assurance. Ensure curriculum incorporates analytical thinking, problem solving, creativity, diverse use of technologies and differentiated learning.
  • Lead academic teams in all phases of assessment, as per assessment center guidelines - design test items as per stringent challenge levels and CSOs (Course Standards and Objectives); deploy established testing modes as per testing mode matrices and timelines; monitor timely grade transmissions; and analyze outcomes to forecast and plan for reliable projections.
  • Work with SSP to create and execute distinct co-scholastic activities, which tightly integrates into the curriculum and provides 21st century talent growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executives to modify school products and services for better customer learning experiences.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, satisfaction and integrity as well as ensure campus results are high in relation to comparable regional and international institutions.
  • Work proactively with Office of Admissions to achieve student enrollment targets.
  • Retain talent and assist in recruitment to aggressively build high-performing administrative/academic teams.
  • Lead development of processes and direct changes in team design and culture to ensure continued and increasing efficacy as teams undergo periods of rapid growth, without sacrificing technical quality, innovation, or the team environments.
  • Be actively involved in all campus activities to ensure that the highest possible revenue targets, service and performance rates are being fulfilled.
B. Training
  • Work with Office of the Principal and Delta Human Resources to schedule CPD sessions, focusing on skills, product and service knowledge and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) standards.
  • Maintain in-depth and current Delta English School admissions, product and service knowledge at all times, in order to deliver the best customer solutions.
  • Utilize Delta English School training programs to educate and appraise Delta English School employees so that they can drive optimal results within their departments.
  • Take on a leadership role in at least two areas of specialization e.g. Learning Management, Learning Technology, or Admissions Expert and become a peer leader for Delta English School.
  • Assist with on-campus training presentations to educate customers on the latest Delta English School innovations and total education solutions.
C. Marketing
  • Collaborate with Delta Education System to ensure that Delta English School product and visual merchandising is always up to standard and updated as required.
  • Actively work on advertising initiatives to drive repeat and new admissions.
  • Work with Office of the Principal to implement learning space planograms.
  • Consistently represent the Delta English School brand to the highest level at all avenues.

Education
  • Master's degree from an accredited and reputed institution
  • Bachelor's in Education from an accredited and reputed institution
Key Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distinguished CBSE schools directing high visibility initiatives
  • Teaching and/or Business Development experience in previous K-12 institutions
  • General understanding of school operations and logistics
  • Ability to stay abreast of current and new developments in school/education management
  • Detailed knowledge of the United Arab Emirates education sector with a demonstrated ability to engage with school leaders, senior executives and influencer organizations at the emirate and national level
  • Advanced communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Mature in approach, decision-making and follow through
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in previous K-12 institutions
  • Self-starter who takes initiatives and can exemplify the institution culture during interactions
  • Ability to motivate and engage extended teams to plan and execute strategies and projects
  • Strives for improvement with record in meeting aggressive school targets against closely measured goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, without distractions
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to and drive change as required
  • Familiarity on how Delta English School products and services can transform learning would be a plus
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Doctorate degree from an accredited and reputed institution
  • Master's in Education from an accredited and reputed institution
  • Served as external CBSE AISSE and AISSCE contributor and/or examiner
  • Proven ability to attract top talent and maintain high-quality, high intelligence teams with Masters and PhDs
