Responsibilities

Instructional Leadership+ Support the Principal in developing and implementing a high-quality American standards-based curriculum.
+ Facilitate professional development and instructional coaching for teachers.
+ Monitor instructional practices and provide constructive feedback through observations and evaluations.
+ Assist in the development of assessment strategies to track and improve student achievement.
+ Promote data-driven decision-making to enhance learning outcomes.



Student Affairs+ Oversee student discipline and ensure consistent enforcement of the school's behavior policies.
+ Promote a positive school climate and implement student engagement initiatives.
+ Work closely with counselors, special education staff, and support personnel to address student needs.
+ Monitor attendance and student well-being.



Staff Supervision and Support+ Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of faculty and staff.
+ Conduct teacher observations, performance evaluations, and contribute to professional growth plans.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among staff.



School Operations+ Support daily school operations and act as Principal in their absence.
+ Participate in scheduling, planning school events, and organizing extracurricular programs.
+ Ensure compliance with school policies, accreditation requirements, and relevant educational laws.
+ Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a safe school environment.



Parent and Community Engagement+ Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and school initiatives.
+ Promote community involvement and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders.
+ Represent the school at meetings, conferences, and public functions when needed.

Skills Description

Instructional Leadership

Ability to guide and support teachers in implementing best practices aligned with American curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS). Ensures the delivery of high-quality instruction and promotes continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

2. Curriculum Development

Expertise in American curriculum frameworks, capable of overseeing curriculum planning, mapping, and assessment to ensure academic rigor and alignment with school goals and student needs.

3. Data-Driven Decision Making

Proficient in analyzing student performance data to inform instructional strategies, identify learning gaps, and improve outcomes. Uses data to drive school improvement plans.

4. Student Discipline and Behavior Management

Strong understanding of positive behavior interventions and school-wide discipline systems. Skilled in promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

5. Staff Supervision and Evaluation

Capable of conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback, and guiding teacher professional development. Supports staff growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance appraisals.

6. Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Able to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.

7. Leadership and Team Building

Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide faculty and staff. Promotes collaboration, shared decision-making, and a strong sense of community within the school.

8. Organizational and Time Management

Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic school environment. Effectively plans, delegates, and monitors school operations and administrative tasks.

Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving conflicts among students, staff, and parents. Uses a fair and solution-oriented approach to address issues and implement corrective actions.
