Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership+ Support the Principal in developing and implementing a high-quality American standards-based curriculum.
+ Facilitate professional development and instructional coaching for teachers.
+ Monitor instructional practices and provide constructive feedback through observations and evaluations.
+ Assist in the development of assessment strategies to track and improve student achievement.
+ Promote data-driven decision-making to enhance learning outcomes.
Student Affairs+ Oversee student discipline and ensure consistent enforcement of the school's behavior policies.
+ Promote a positive school climate and implement student engagement initiatives.
+ Work closely with counselors, special education staff, and support personnel to address student needs.
+ Monitor attendance and student well-being.
Staff Supervision and Support+ Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of faculty and staff.
+ Conduct teacher observations, performance evaluations, and contribute to professional growth plans.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among staff.
School Operations+ Support daily school operations and act as Principal in their absence.
+ Participate in scheduling, planning school events, and organizing extracurricular programs.
+ Ensure compliance with school policies, accreditation requirements, and relevant educational laws.
+ Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a safe school environment.
Parent and Community Engagement+ Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and school initiatives.
+ Promote community involvement and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders.
+ Represent the school at meetings, conferences, and public functions when needed.
