Edelman Global Advisory is a recently launched standalone international advisory firm within the Edelman network that owns the firm\xe2\x80\x99s public affairs work. We have rebranded public affairs to advisory to better capture the evolution and future of this sector. Advisory service combines business strategy, government affairs, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and political risk analysis to help clients navigate changing political dynamics. Our mission is to build trust in today\xe2\x80\x99s evolving geopolitical environment.
Joining the EGA team will provide team members with the opportunity to be involved in the building of this new firm from creating a new culture, to redefining public affairs services, to exploring new services, such as data analytics and political risk analysis. We view ourselves as a start-up built on top of one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s most recognizable brands.
This position will be based in the Edelman Dubai office and will report to the MENA Chair.
Position Overview
Vice Presidents are responsible for client management including strategy support, production of client deliverables and monitoring and analyzing regional issues. VPs will identify and oversee business development by overseeing and providing input on the production of decks and materials to present to potential clients. As thought leaders, VPs will develop the editorial calendar for their sector/region and write pieces and represents the firm publicly. VPs will be responsible for providing intelligence and analysis on market developments. VPs will build and maintain a current network of contacts in the government, business, civil society and among other key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications and Requirments
Basic Qualifications and Requirments
At least7-9 years of experience in government, NGO or private firm leading work related to relevant region or sector
o Forward thinker, ability to work in ambiguity and think/program across a variety of platforms, channels and audiences
o Comprehensive understanding and experience in MENA business. Maintains an intimate understanding of the client\xe2\x80\x99s business, priorities and competitive landscape
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\x93 a positive approach with a self-started attitude
o Stays knowledgeable about markets and sectors of Middle East business and stakeholders
o Excellent writing and PowerPoint skills
o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
o Proactive approach, a willingness to take initiative and support the full team to drive business growth and results and anticipates what\xe2\x80\x99s next to get ahead of issues and capitalize on new opportunities
o Ability to work effectively with dynamic teams and across offices and geographies

o Support the growth and development of new business and expansion of EGA Middle East through the successful understanding, drafting and execution of RFPs

o Serve as strategic partner to our clients, identifying and flagging challenges and opportunities and proving relevant council
o Work with team in Abu Dhabi, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dubai and US on proposals, deliverables and produce results in a timely manner
o Produce client deliverables and see full execution from start to finish
o Support thought leadership in the Middle East region
o In partnership with team, prepare materials for meetings, events or other clients/stakeholders/media engagement activities;
o Provide day to day support for EGA and clients, including regular meetings, calls and briefings
o Train and onboard junior and mid level team as the team expands in MENA
o Liase with MENA lead on the managing of roll-outs and all plans and assets for EGA and clients in the Middle East
o Identify relevant market and policy trends and pitch new business opportunities with EGA
o Oversees client budget management and forecasting, proactively addresses scope creep and delays in client invoice payment with MENA leadership
o Builds relationships with EGA and Edelman team across the globe to leverage and monetize the full suite of resources
o Track progress and report back results to MENA Chair based on agreed-upon metrics and achievement of business goals
o Manages and monitors the client relationship with the MENA team
