2Responsibilities:
Operations & maintenance of ABB VFD systems driving surface booster pumps. Daily monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of ABB drive systems. Drive parameter adjustments, trip/reset handling, and fault resolution. Interface with SCADA/DCS for pump control and integration. Preventive and corrective maintenance of VFD hardware. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred). 5+ years' experience with ABB VFD systems in oil & gas or heavy industry. Strong background in motor controls, power systems, and troubleshooting. Experience integrating VFDs with PLC/DCS systems. Familiar with electrical HSE standards and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
