Veterinary Physiotherapist
Job Description
Ontime Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Physiotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to a variety of animals, helping them recover from injuries, surgeries, and manage chronic conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for our furry patients through personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
+ Conducting thorough physical assessments of animals to identify mobility issues and rehabilitation needs.
+ Developing and implementing effective treatment plans that incorporate various physiotherapy modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy.
+ Overseeing the rehabilitation process and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on animal progress.
+ Collaborating with veterinarians and other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
+ Educating pet owners about their animal's treatment plans, rehabilitation strategies, and the importance of preventive care.
+ Maintaining detailed records of patient assessments, treatments administered, and progress updates.
+ Staying updated on best practices and advances in veterinary physiotherapy to continuously enhance services provided.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy or a related field. Valid certification and license to practice as a Veterinary Physiotherapist. Previous experience in veterinary physiotherapy is highly desirable. Deep understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with pet owners and care teams. Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate effectively with other professionals. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and reports. Passion for continuous learning and professional growth in veterinary care and physiotherapy practices.
