Job Description
We are looking to hire a highly enthusiastic Veterinary Doctor for a reputable Veterinary Clinic in Dubai. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Doctor. Western / European Training is a must. MOCCAE License is a must. Excellent communication skills in English, cooperative behaviour, and team player are mandatory skills for the job. Duties and Responsibilities
Salary : AED 15000 to AED 35000 Paid Annual Leave Medical Insurance Return Ticket to home country can perform surgeries to small animals courteous to animals and the owners Job Type: Full-time
- Examines and treat all species of animals
- Conducts diagnostic tests and immunizations
- Operates / Surgeries on small animals
- Maintain strong relationships with Owner of the patient by conducting personal follow up reviews
- Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination analysis
- Operate diagnostic equipment, like radio-graphic or ultrasound equipment, and also interpret the resulting images
- Performed laboratory and surgical procedures, including but not limited to, spay/neuters, mass removals, dental radiography and extractions, FNAs, allergy testing, BG curves, and various blood/urine/fecal tests
- Supervise staff in spay and neuter area of care
- Organize and conduct community awareness about rabies, immunization, and pet adoption
- Focus on fostering community involvement and social activities
- Plan or execute animal nutrition or reproduction programs
- Research diseases to which animals could be susceptible
- Inspect animal housing facilities to define their cleanliness adequacy
- Determine the effects of drug therapies, antibiotics, or new surgical techniques by testing them on animals
- Advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures, feeding, general care, medical conditions or treatment options
- Attend lectures, conferences, or continuing education courses
- Perform administrative or business management tasks, like scheduling appointments, accepting payments from clients, budgeting, or maintaining business records
- Counsel clients about the deaths of their pets or about euthanasia decisions for their pets
- Oversee the training of interns and new veterinarians
