OC Pets Veterinary Clinic LLC is seeking an experienced

Veterinary Cardiologist

with strong competencies in

Internal Medicine

,

Endocrinology

,

ultrasound imaging

, and

soft tissue surgery

. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded clinician capable of managing both specialized and general cases while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will provide advanced cardiology services, support complex medical case management, perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, and carry out routine and intermediate soft tissue surgical procedures. This role requires an individual with strong clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including echocardiography and ECG interpretation. Diagnose and treat internal medicine cases, including multi-system, infectious, metabolic, and immune-mediated diseases. Manage endocrinology cases such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, and adrenal diseases. Perform ultrasound examinations, including both cardiac and abdominal imaging. Carry out soft tissue surgeries relevant to general small-animal practice. Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate clearly with clients. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care.

Required Qualifications

DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) with eligibility for licensure in the UAE. Extensive experience in veterinary cardiology; residency training or board certification preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience in companion animal practice. Demonstrated skills in ultrasound imaging and soft tissue surgery. Strong background in internal medicine and endocrinology case management. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Additional Experience

Experience managing cardiac emergencies and critical cases. Ability to perform or interpret Holter monitoring or other advanced cardiac diagnostics. Prior experience mentoring junior veterinarians or leading clinical discussions.
