Job description MUST BE BACHELORS IN NAUTICAL SCIENCE OR WITH EXPERIENCE IN MARINE FIELD -Maintaining up to date inventory -Tracking metrics -Reporting accidents -Maintaining certification letters & training certificates -Developing, conducting, and documenting appropriate drills -Conducting risk assessment -Developing Personal Qualifications Standards - Responsibile for Operation, Maintenance, updation and Inspection records of the vessel coordinate with Outside agencies for \xe2\x80\x93 inspections, repairs, maintenance\xe2\x80\xa6 -Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the relevant vessel(s),including but not limited to - Monitoring/Control of vessels\' speed & bunker consumption - Monitoring/Control of vessels\' cargo intakes, bunker requirements, fresh water, Diesel, consumables etc - Procurement of bunkers through the selected suppliers. - Scheduling of vessels\' port stay, include monitoring of pumping performance to optimize greater turnaround time. -Responsible for Appointment of agents for vessel\xe2\x80\x99s port, bunker calls etc. - Various administrative functions including: - Updating of in-house Shipping operational system - Operational procedures for vessels - Evaluating Pre/Post Voyage analysis - Recommend to the Team Leader/Manager(Comm Ops Department) on any operational procedures, which will improve the operation efficiency of the ships -Assist in coordinating the dry docking schedule of the vessels in consultation withtechnical/Chartering/Operation Department. - actively monitor crew change /plans of travels. - update travel requirements and ensure availability of valid crew documents Proficient in Windows, MS products such as Outlook, Word, and other software\xe2\x80\x99s commonly used in today\xe2\x80\x99s industry.
