Position: Veneer Wood Specialist

Location: Dubai Investment Park 2 - Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

? Select, match, and apply veneer sheets based on project specifications and design intent.

? Ensure high-quality finishing, seamless joints, and uniform grain direction in all veneer applications.

? Collaborate with designers, production teams, and carpenters to bring design concepts to life.

? Conduct quality checks to ensure the veneer work meets Palm Living's standards for excellence.

? Maintain knowledge of different veneer species, types, patterns, and behaviors.

? Handle veneer materials with care, ensuring minimal waste and maximum yield.

? Recommend innovative veneer solutions or techniques to improve product quality and visual appeal.

? Assist in the training of junior staff or team members in veneer techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

? Proven experience (minimum 3+ years) working as a Veneer Specialist or in a similar woodworking/furniture production role.

? Strong understanding of veneer materials, tools, adhesives, and finishing processes.

? Exceptional attention to grain matching, color tone, texture, and application.

? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and collaborate with design teams.

? Familiarity with premium interior fit-out standards and luxury furniture manufacturing is a plus.

? Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

? Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
