Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group is seeking a dedicated and organized Vehicle Preparation Coordinator to ensure high-quality vehicle readiness that meets Hertz brand standards. The role involves managing vehicle preparation associates, overseeing cleaning and inspection processes, maintaining inventory, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive operations, logistics, and team leadership, ensuring all vehicles meet safety, quality, and presentation standards before delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on vehicles to ensure compliance with Hertz preparation and cleaning standards.
• Manage and train Vehicle Preparation Associates (VPAs) on vehicle acceptance criteria, damage identification, and preparation processes.
• Update huddle boards and conduct pre-shift briefings to align team activities and performance goals.
• Oversee production scheduling, ensuring vehicles are selected and prepared according to operational requirements.
• Track and report daily productivity and vehicle wash performance metrics to team leaders.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, ensuring timely procurement and stock availability at optimal cost.
• Manage yard cleanliness, waste management, and wastewater disposal in coordination with facilities and external vendors.
• Monitor and document fuel consumption, reconcile usage reports, and order fuel as per operating procedures.
• Record, track, and manage lost and found items according to company policies.
• Perform daily inventory checks for dirty branches, vehicle transfers, and seat accessories, ensuring timely closure of open items.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or logistical coordination role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational ability with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
• Proficient in MS Office and operational reporting tools.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining brand and quality standards.
