Agency Aga Khan Academies

The position Vegetarian Cook will be responsible for developing new concepts and recipes of Vegetarian & Vegan products and ensure consistency in the quality to maximize student satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY: Develop and execute Vegetarian and Vegan menu that are palatable to the school community with locally available ingredients. Ensure adherence to set standards of food quality, hygiene, preparation, and presentation. Estimates daily production needs and communicates production needs to Head cook . Keep abreast of latest trends & developments in the school communities eating habits, different food products, new cuisine, and leverage this knowledge in various projects. Check the quality and availability of raw ingredients for smooth vegetarian dishes preparation. Ensure buffets/food displays are set up and maintained professionally and looks inviting. Be responsible for the hygiene standards of the kitchen, storage areas, equipment, and machinery. Ensure compliance with the occupation health and safety regulations Any other duties as assigned to you

The requirements

QUALIFICATIONS A Technician certificate in Catering At least 3 years' experience as a cook Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes English proficiency
