Career Opportunity | VAT - Tax Manager

Alliance Prime Accounting and Tax Consultancy (APATC) is a leading professional services firm specializing in accounting, tax advisory, and compliance across the UAE. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced VAT - Tax Manager to join our expanding team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Position Overview:

The VAT - Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of VAT compliance and advisory services, ensuring full adherence to UAE tax laws and FTA regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex client portfolios efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the VAT team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant tax services.

Review and supervise VAT filings, reconciliations, and related financial records.

Provide expert advisory support on VAT implications, structuring, and planning.

Manage communications and representations with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

Conduct VAT impact assessments, identify compliance risks, and recommend corrective actions.

Support clients with VAT audit preparation, documentation, and responses.

Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless tax integration across services.

Mentor and train junior staff to build technical expertise within the VAT function.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CTA preferred).

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in VAT and tax compliance, preferably within a consultancy or professional services environment.

Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT law, FTA procedures, and accounting principles.

Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and report-writing skills.

Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with clients and regulatory authorities.
