Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in VAT compliance to join our finance team in the chocolate industry. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate VAT reporting, and maintain compliance with local tax regulations.

Location: Al Ain.

Salary (AED): 3000-4000

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in accordance with local laws and deadlines. Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure timely filing and payment of taxes. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors regarding VAT and other financial matters. Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory regulations. Prepare financial reports and statements as required by management. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Provide guidance and support on VAT-related matters to the finance team and other departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on VAT compliance. Thorough knowledge of VAT laws and regulations in the UAE (or relevant country). Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

Experience in the FMCG or food & beverage industry, particularly chocolate or confectionery. Certification in VAT or professional accounting qualification Male Candidate Preferred

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
