Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection, dismantling, repair, assembly, and testing of different valve types (ball, gate, globe, control, safety, and butterfly valves).
Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing as per client and international standards.
Calibrate and troubleshoot control valves and actuators.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with DEWA and industry specifications.
Prepare detailed service reports and maintain proper documentation.
Support site activities, including valve installation and commissioning when required.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of proven experience as a Valve Technician in oil & gas or water treatment industries.
Knowledge of valve testing procedures, tools, and calibration instruments.
Familiarity with DEWA standards and documentation preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
