Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
Valve Technician
to join our maintenance and operations team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, testing, and calibration of various types of industrial valves, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble valves (control, safety relief, isolation, and actuated types). Perform testing and calibration of valves and actuators in accordance with company and international standards. Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults in valve systems and take corrective actions. Maintain detailed service reports, calibration records, and test certificates. Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with company safety, health, and environmental (HSE) policies. Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in valve maintenance, repair, and testing (oil & gas or industrial sector preferred). Hands-on experience withcontrol valves, safety relief valves, and actuators
(pneumatic/electric/hydraulic). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals. Good communication skills in English. Candidates with a validQatar ID
