For maintenance work in MTA -4
Knowledge & Qualification:
Must have more than 08 years of experience in mechanical maintenance works in the Petrochemical or Power Generation industry of which at least 5 years have been performed in the role of a Mechanical Supervisor.
Must have 3 years of experience in the overhauling of Safety Relief and Control Valves.
Educational qualifications: OND or equal in a relevant discipline or standard-based qualification (NVQ level 3) or equivalent.
Nb. May be required to undertake a Competency-Based test witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline engineer.
Must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of Safety Relief Valves and Control Valves.
Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 6 Equivalent) and be able to communicate with the majority of manpower in their language.
Must be capable of executing QA/QC / HSE compliance audits on-site procedures and HSE Plans
Must have experience in and be fully aware of the different pipes, gaskets and bolting materials.
Must be familiar with the different welding techniques, welding tools and equipment
Must be able to organise up to 10 mechanical technicians, welders and fitters.
Must be able to organise the materials, services and equipment for his job.
Must have experience in and be able to troubleshoot, test and propose repair methods without any supervision.
Must have experience in and be able to plan associated activities, scaffoldings, electric cable works etc. well in advance.
Meet all requirements for Senior Mechanical Craftsman.
