Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and motivated

Valve Technicians / Engineers

with hands-on experience in

valve maintenance, testing, calibration, and refurbishment

. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of

safety valves, control valves, gate, globe, and ball valves

, and should be able to work both independently and as part of a technical service team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

inspection, dismantling, repair, lapping, assembly, and testing

of industrial and safety valves (safety, control, globe, gate, ball, butterfly, etc.). Conduct

hydrostatic and pneumatic testing

as per ASME/API/ISO standards. Carry out

valve calibration and setting

for pressure safety valves (PSV). Support field maintenance, shutdown, and site service jobs across UAE / GCC. Maintain tools, testing rigs, and calibration equipment in proper working condition. Record test reports, calibration data, and maintain proper documentation. Follow all

QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)

procedures and ensure compliance during workshop and site operations. Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to ensure timely project execution.

Requirements

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.

Experience:

1-6 years of experience in valve maintenance, testing, or mechanical service (preferably in GCC countries).

Technical Knowledge:

Hands-on experience with

industrial, control, and safety valves

. Familiar with

testing standards (ASME, API, ISO)

. Experience with

test benches, lapping machines, and calibration tools

.

Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Ability to read and interpret valve drawings and datasheets. Team player with good communication and time management skills.

Other:

Valid UAE driving license preferred. Willing to travel and work on client sites, including shutdowns and offshore jobs.
