Job Description

The Utility Helper is responsible for providing general assistance in various operations, ensuring that the workplace is maintained efficiently and safely. The role supports the team with basic tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and performing general labor to help maintain operations and assist other workers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with the setup and cleaning of work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment. Perform basic maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas as required. Support workers and supervisors with various general labor tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas. Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, equipment, and supplies. Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies are low. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:



Previous experience in a general labor or maintenance role (preferred but not required). Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks. Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Good physical condition and stamina to perform physical tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Working Conditions:



Work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. Potential for long hours depending on operational needs.
