Key Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and oversee installation, relocation, and protection of utilities including water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, and telecom systems
• Coordinate with local authorities and service providers to secure approvals and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built submissions for accuracy and adherence to project specifications
• Monitor on-site utility works to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are achieved
• Resolve design and coordination conflicts, providing practical and effective solutions
• Prepare and maintain reports, inspection logs, and project documentation for utility works
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and government entities to ensure smooth execution of utility-related activities

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience as a Utility Engineer in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water networks, electrical, and telecom utilities)
• Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and approval procedures (DEWA, RTA, Etisalat, DU)
• Demonstrated expertise in coordinating utility diversions and new utility installations
• Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
