Job Summary:

As a Utility Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of utility systems within our organization. * Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of utility systems to identify issues and ensure optimal performance * Develop and implement maintenance schedules for utility equipment, ensuring proper functioning and longevity. * Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime. * Analyze utility consumption data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings. * Develop strategies to optimize utility usage, minimize waste, and promote sustainability initiatives. * Implement energy-saving practices and technologies to reduce the organization's environmental footprint. * Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to utility management. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines related to utility operations. * Prepare and submit accurate reports to regulatory bodies as required. * Lead utility-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and installations, from inception to completion. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. * Ensure projects are executed within budget and meet quality and safety standards. * Collaborate with other departments and teams to address utility-related needs and concerns. * Provide training and guidance to staff on efficient utility usage and safety protocols. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the utility engineering team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering). * Proven experience in utility engineering, maintenance, or a related field. * Knowledge of utility systems, regulations, and best practices. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize utility usage and resolve technical issues. * Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. * Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to a dynamic work environment. * Professional certifications or licenses related to utility engineering is a plus.
