**Utilities Engineer**

**Qatar, Doha**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Utilities Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Develop conceptual and Detailed engineering design for the Utility corridors design, master planning of utilities, Utilities Cross sections, writing technical notes, and coordination of existing and new utilities infrastructure. Coordinate with other engineering sections, prepare alternative solutions to issues and problems

+ Shall be conversant with Qatar Utilities Authority regulations such as MM, PWA, KME, KMW, QAF, Ooredoo, Q-Rail and other relevant authorities within gulf region.

+ You will prepare engineering design models in Civil3D or similar software.

+ You will work with other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated multi-discipline designs.

+ You will prepare presentations and reports to explain proposals and solutions to clients, Authorities and management.

+ Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

+ Provides input to BIMCAD Designer working on the same project.

+ Review plans and profiles for technical compliance with design objectives and clarity for construction

+ Develops simple workflows / Templates to enable efficient repetition of design

+ Applies advanced engineering principles to complex analytical models

+ Checks design deliverables from equal or less experienced Engineers

+ Track progress of task assignments vs original baseline schedule.

+ Contribute as a productive and efficient team member to meet project deadlines

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ BacheloraEUR(TM)s Degree in Engineering

+ Minimum 5 years related experience

+ Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is advantage.

+ proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Understands QA/QC standard practices and procedures
