Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Petrol Mechanic

to maintain, diagnose, and repair petrol-powered vehicles. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with petrol engines, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in petrol engines and related components Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups Repair or replace worn or damaged parts such as spark plugs, belts, fuel pumps, and exhaust systems Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve engine issues Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards Maintain accurate service records and reports Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding repairs and maintenance Test vehicles and systems to ensure repairs are effective Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols

Requirements:

Trade qualification as a Petrol Mechanic or Automotive Technician (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) Proven experience working with petrol-powered vehicles. Strong knowledge of petrol engine systems and vehicle diagnostics Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Good problem-solving and communication skills Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment Use of tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment If holding Qatar driver's license (manual preferred), will be advantageous.
