Urgent and Immediate Job Opening with a Leading Retail Client in Dubai, UAEAdecco is hiring International Distributor Manager for our client a leading Retail Industry in Dubai, UAE.
Purpose:
Responsible for developing the complete business through selected independent distributors in Europe and the Middle East, for the achievement of budgeted Sales as well as Gross Margin, implementing proactive, tactical marketing, while ensuring a high level of customer service to all the distributors.
Experience:
Identifying, appointing, and managing independent distributors.
Commercial experience - minimum 10 years, 5 years \\of which, managing international distributors (ABSOLUTE PREREQUISITE), with proven success in a similar role within writing instrument or luxury or FMCG Sectors.
Principal Accountabilities:

• Cultivate and manage the business relationships between distributor partners in each European/Middle East country, with the goal of increasing the company\'s sales units & revenue, and achievement of target margin levels as well as market shares across the region, while maximizing brand awareness.
• Achieve agreed sales targets for the region of responsibility. (Reviewed monthly)
• Sales Channels to focus on: Trade, Business Gift, E-Commerce, Travel Retail.
• Be responsible for the terms of payment of each distributor, advising on their credit worthiness, liaising with them as well as with the company\'s Finance and Administration Managers, in order to ensure prompt payment of all sales invoices.
• Identify new, or until now not-entered key channels of trade for company products (e.g. Department Stores, Engravers, Jewellery, Giftware, Duty Free, E-Commerce) and ensure through the importers\' distribution network, that such chains are supplied with the company\'s products and are effectively merchandised.
• Develop on a yearly basis, a sales and marketing activity plan with the relevant top distributors.
• Ensure rapid follow-up to all Distributor meetings, so that action points are quickly and accurately written up and sent to the customer, in order to maximize effectiveness of the meetings, and to hold a correct record of the meetings.
