Description
Duties:

Manage, inspire and lead of the urban planning team including planners and technical staff to deliver leading edge urban planning projects.
Lead technical skills development of the department in terms of innovative urban planning solutions, planning techniques, prepare innovative master planning schemes including concept and detailed master plans.
Lead development applications through the project life cycle to completion, including: Monitoring application review through the land use approvals process.
Representation of land use planning applications before public bodies including municipal committees, public organizations and identified stakeholders.
Direct project managers in terms of projects financial performance indicators like budgets, schedules and resources allocation and maintain the technical quality and excellence of projects throughout systematic undertaking quality control and assurance procedures on project deliverables.
Assist the company management in business development strategies and support preparation of technical and financial

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Architectural Engineering and/or Master Planning
LEED Accreditation is an asset
Member of an Architectural Association
Min 15 years Practical Experience on Large International projects with Consultants
Work experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
Relevant knowledge/experience in planning and zoning codes
