Our Graduate Programme supports your individual journey to unleash your full potential. We offer you three rotations in different teams, on- and off-the-job training, and the opportunity to start building your own network. Each rotation is designed to provide you with in\xe2\x80\x90depth knowledge and a sound foundation to perform in your focus area and beyond. One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.

Join the CRO division and become part of the CRO Emerging Markets team in Dubai. Proactive risk management is an essential component of the Risk, Legal and Compliance Division of Julius Baer and supports the Senior Management in ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations to actively manage operational, regulatory and reputational risks. Part of your Graduate journey will include rotations in Dubai and Zurich. Our Focus-Track provides you with a holistic experience across Julius Baer\xe2\x80\x99s Dubai and Zurich offices. Our teams are responsible and deliver the insights to the Group CRO and other members of the management team.

YOUR CHALLENGE
Collaborate within the CRO function and stakeholders, taking the lead for designated areas of responsibility, to manage the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s compliance and regulatory risk
Being involved in the daily business, working with other professionals, and gaining first-hand experience
First point of contact in relation to provision of regulatory and compliance advice to all business lines and advisory solutions
Take responsibility for one or more regular activities of the team such as validation of risks and identify and solving actively challenges
Review, address/approve compliance/regulatory escalations or issues that arise from Front, or other stakeholders. Work closely with members from other risk teams and divisions
Involvement in, including driving where required, such other Compliance-related tasks or projects as and when necessary/delegated
YOUR PROFILE
Master\'s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in law, law & economics, law & management, or related fields (graduation max. 12 months ago)
Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets is an added advantage
Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills
Team player and professional interaction with stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Very good communication and presentation skills, confident appearance
Independent, resilient and team-oriented personality
Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibility
Fluent in English, other languages an advantage
