Job Summary:

The University Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating university vehicles to transport staff, students, and visitors. The role includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting the university's administrative and logistical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive university vehicles to transport staff, students, guests, and materials as assigned. Adhere to all traffic laws and university transport policies. Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained, and in good running condition at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs. Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the Transport Officer immediately. Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, trip records, and fuel consumption reports. Assist in loading and unloading luggage, equipment, or materials as required. Coordinate with the administration for transport schedules and assignments. Support official university errands such as mail delivery, bank runs, and procurement activities. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during trips.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license (appropriate for vehicle category). Clean driving record with at least [2-5] years of professional driving experience. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations. Basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical knowledge. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must hold a valid

UAE Country Driving License ( or Bus License, as required).

Must have a valid own residence visa

(sponsored by self or family -- no visa sponsorship provided by the university).

Minimum of 2-5 years of professional driving experience (preferably in an academic or corporate setting).

Clean driving record and strong knowledge of local roads and traffic laws. Ability to read and communicate in English ,Hindi .Arabic or other languages is an advantage). Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy with strong interpersonal skills.
