Job Title: Unit Head, Business Development & Sales - Publishing- UAE Nationals Only

Job profile: Overseeing the implementation of plans and initiatives for business development and sales development of the publishing sector in order to support the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center in achieving its financial goals and strategic priorities. The Head of Business Development and Sales - Publishing unit oversees research and analysis of market developments and identifies new sales opportunities and income sources for the publishing sector with the aim of increasing sales and reaching larger numbers of beneficiaries and distributors. He also leads and supervises the analysis of the publishing sector sales performance. In addition, setting and developing plans to develop the electronic publishing business to contribute to achieving the objectives of publishing and translation programs and initiatives and the desired sales results of the publishing sector. Business Development and Publishing Sector Sales Leading the development and implementation of plans and initiatives and identifying opportunities to develop the sales of the publishing sector with the aim of increasing the number of sales of the sector and expanding access to a larger number of partners, distributors, beneficiaries and stakeholders at the local and international levels. Supervising the search and attraction of new opportunities and sources of income for the publishing sector to ensure the enhancement of the commercial viability of Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center programs and products. Develop effective plans for the development of electronic publishing, supervise the identification of opportunities and propose relevant initiatives in order to support the efforts and programs of the publishing sector through modern digital means and channels, in accordance with the specific needs and objectives of the sector. Supervising the preparation of sales contracts and ensuring their compliance with established laws, conditions and details. Monitoring and supervising the analysis of the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries and consumers about products, services and sales of the publishing sector to develop plans for improvement and development. Overseeing the day-to-day operations, directing the team, evaluating and supervising its performance, and ensuring that the required activities and tasks are carried out on time, with efficiency and in high quality in coordination with the concerned teams. Establishing controls to manage and direct operations and propose plans to improve productivity and accomplish operations according to the required standards.

Educational Minimum of Bachelor or master's degree in business administrations

Field Experience Minimum of 5 years of field experience in publishing, distributions, business development Publishing firm experience is must
